About
Here at Cr8tive Lefty you will find a wide variety of crochet and embroidered treasures. Whether shopping for yourself or someone special, you will find, "A gift that is an extension of your heart".
My industrial embroidery machine that allows me to make all type of embroidered items such as flour sack towels, tea towels, tote bags, aprons, sew on patches and belt flags for larping, etc.
I have been crocheting all types of things including shawls, snoods, cross body cowls, arm warmers, capelets, shrugs, cowls for over three decades. As a child, my mother taught me the gift of crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, embroidery, etc. She was a master seamstress and a very gifted crafter. My mom’s challenge was that her daughter was a lefty and she was right handed. At that time there were no books, videos, or information available for lefties.
Embroidery and crochet is not just a means to show my artistry, it is a means to keep my mom’s artistic magic alive. I still have some of my earlier creations that I made with my mom, and the magic is still there. The memories bring warmth and a sense of security. I have been fortunate to be able to hand down similar skills to my daughter. Now she too is an artist and can extend her passion to her family and friends.
I look forward to sharing my art with you.
